Hazel Morgan b.1967
Hazel trained at Charles H Cecil Studios in Florence.
Her talent was evident from the start and after three
months she was invited to become a tutor.
Whilst Hazel had ponies from the age of seven, when
she was fifteen her parents accidentally bought a 15 hand
thoroughbred mix which although small had a ‘Ferrari
engine’. She competed across the country in various
BHA and BHS events. She attributes this period of her
life to when she trained her eye for equestrian portraiture.
Her patrons include His Late Royal Highness Khalid
Abdullah who commissioned her to paint many of his
brood mares. Corporate collections include: Barclays
Head Office, The University of Westminster and The
University of Florida. Hazel is now firmly established
as one of today’s leading portrait and equestrian artists.
