Claudia Munro Kerr b.1968

Claudia was raised in Scotland and in Madrid. From
a very young age she sought inspiration from the mag -
nif i cent works by Veláquez in the Prado. After school
she studied at City and Guilds Art School in London
followed by École des Beaux-Arts, Paris. She prides
her self on being an en plein air painter, enjoying the
free dom of being outdoors where the pulse of nature
brings infinite variations of light and colour to her work.
Having been brought up in Scotland, where the land -
‘ scape is barren and the shores are craggy, going wild

to me means graceful animals in their natural habitat,
’
as well as boats at sea, under a changing sky.
