‘I wasn’t sure if I would make it back to England, but if I did,
I knew I was going to paint the things that mean ‘home’ to
me. I’ve witnessed people willing to die for their home. This led
me to wonder – what is home? The following works dive into
the simple things in life: the rolling fields, the costal cliffs, 600
year old oak trees, and even our beloved pubs. These peaceful,
beautiful things I now know not to take for granted.’
